Trees that have large, co-dominant trunks can grow weak at the attachment point (where the tree V’s) and will benefit from cabling and bracing. This support technique utilizes heavy-duty hardware to strengthen the trunk and make it more structurally stable. It is also frequently used on trees that have been weakened or damaged by wind or storms, or those that have too much foliage for their trunk size.
With yearly inspections, our cabling products are guaranteed for the life of the install. As trees continue to grow, the cabling may need to be adjusted to fully provide the support needed and should be inspected annually.
Please contact us if you feel your tree needs this type of treatment.
